The Atlanta Braves defeated the Miami Marlins 10-6 on Tuesday night in the third outing of a four game set at SunTrust Park. It marked the fourth straight win for Atlanta.
Ronald Acuna Jr. got the Braves on the board in the bottom of the first inning with his third straight lead-off home run. Acuna has now homered in the last five consecutive games; he is the youngest player in MLB history to achieve this feat.
That lead-off home run was immediately followed by a solo shot from Rome native Charlie Culberson.
Acuna struck again with a three-run bomb in the seventh. Freddie Freeman had a game-tying solo shot in the sixth.
