ATLANTA BRAVES’ MATCH AT CHICAGO POSTPONED, TEAM HEADS BACK TO SUNTRUST PARK TONIGHT

The Atlanta Braves’ series finale versus the Chicago Cubs slated for Sunday at Wrigley Field was postponed due to inclement weather.  The game will be made up on May 14th.

The Braves will return to SunTrust Park to open up a seven game homestand tonight with an outing against the Philadelphia Phillies.  Julio Teheran will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta, while Aaron Nola will head to the mound for Philadelphia.  First pitch is set for 7:35 pm.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410.  Air time for pre-game programming is 6:20 pm from the Braves Radio Network.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves were rained out in Greenville, South Carolina on Sunday.  The team will be in Asheville, North Carolina tonight to face the Tourists at 7:05 pm.
