The Atlanta Braves edged the Miami Marlins 5-4 on Sunday in the finale of a three game set at SunTrust Park, allowing the Braves to take the series 2-1 on back-to-back walk-off wins.

Brandon Phillips delivered his second walk-off hit in less than 24 hours to drive Johan Camargo home to score the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Jim Johnson pitched a scoreless ninth to get the win in relief for Atlanta, while reliever Drew Steckenrider took the loss for Miami.

The Braves will continue their current 10-game homestand with a four-game set versus the San Francisco Giants tonight through Thursday.  First pitch of tonight’s series opener is set for 7:35 pm at SunTrust Park.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410.  Air time is 6:20 pm.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves closed out the first half of their 2017 season with a loss to the Greenville Drive 4-3 in the finale of a three-game set at State Mutual Stadium on Fathers Day.  It is now time for the Sally League All-Star Break!
