The Atlanta Braves were off on Monday and will return to SunTrust Park this evening to open a six game homestand with the first of two games against the New York Mets.  Mike Foltynewicz will serve as tonight’s starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Zack Wheeler will head to the mound for New York.  First pitch is set for 7:35 pm.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410; air time is 6:20 pm from the Braves Radio Network.

The Braves most recently wrapped up a six-game west coast road trip with a total of two wins and four losses.  They are slated to play twelve of their next 14 games at home.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves picked up an 8-2 victory over the Greenville Drive on Monday night at Greenville, South Carolina.  The teams will meet again tonight at 7:05 pm.
