ATLANTA HAWKS FALL TO ORLANDO MAGIC IN OVERTIME

The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Orlando Magic 110-106 in overtime on Wednesday night in Orlando, Florida.

Evan Fournier led all players in scoring; he notched 27 points for the Magic before departing early in the overtime period due to an injured ankle.  Aaron Gordon added 24 points and 15 rebounds, while Nikola Vucevic contributed 22 points and 16 rebounds.

Orlando made it to overtime on a 3-point jumper from DJ Augustin with six seconds left in regulation.

Dennis Schroder was the top scorer for the Hawks with 26 points.  Taurean Prince scored 19 points, while Tyler Cavanaugh and Marco Belinelli had 13 and 12 points, respectively, off the bench.

The Hawks and the Magic will meet again this Saturday night at the Philips Arena.  Tip off is set for 7:30 pm.
