LOCAL TEA PARTY MEMBER IN SOUTH CAROLINA FOR PRIMARY ELECTION

Voters in South Carolina will go to the polls tomorrow for the Republican primary election.  Rome Tea Party member Mike Morton is in the Palmetto State for the election.  He spoke to WLAQ’s Elizabeth Davis on Good Morning Rome on Thursday while in route to Charleston for a Tea Party Patriots leadership conference.  He also got to attend the CNN debate last night.  
Morton says that he supports Rick Santorum in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

NEW EXHIBIT TO HIGHLIGHT PHOTOMICOGRAPHY WINNERS AT TELLUS M– USEUM

A new exhibit opens at the Tellus:  Northwest Georgia Science Museum in Cartersville today.  The Nikon Small World Photomicrography Exhibit features the work of winners of an annual international competition to identify the top images taken through a microscope.  Marketing Director Joe Schulman says Tellus is hosting the top 20 photomicrographs from the 2011 competition.

WSB-TV NEWS ANCHOR TO SPEAK AT DARLINGTON SCHOOL’S CAREER DAY TODAY

Darlington School will host their Career Day today.  The event gets underway at 8:30 am with keynote speaker Justin Farmer.  Farmer is a WSB-TV news anchor who graduated from Darlington in 1987.  Will Farmer have some sage advice for those interested in entering into the field of broadcast journalism?  He says he intends to offer words of wisdom to students entering any career field.
Farmer, a native of Atlanta, anchors WSB-TV’s Channel 2 Action News at 5, Channel 2 Action News at 6 and the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat.
