The Rome City Commission will meet in regular session this evening. Their 6:30 pm meeting will be preceded by a 5 pm caucus session at City Hall (the City Auditorium) on Broad Street; both are open to the public.

Rodeo Rome is set for this evening and Saturday evening at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds in Rome. Gates will open at 6 pm with the rodeo to start at 8 pm nightly. Tickets are $15 for adults (ages 13 and up) and $10 for kids ages six to 12; kids ages five and under will be admitted free.
