The NL East champion Atlanta Braves wrapped up their final homestand of the regular season with a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday at SunTrust Park, allowing the Braves to sweep the Phillies in a four game set at Atlanta for the first time since 1997.  It also marked the Braves’ fifth win in a row.

Lane Adams led the charge offensively with an RBI ground rule double in the second and a tie-breaking solo home run in the fifth.

Anibal Sanchez picked up the win for Atlanta after giving up just one run and four hits, walking none and striking out one in five innings.  Shane Carle was credited with the save.  Aaron Nola took the loss for Philadelphia.

The Braves are off today and will get back into action on Tuesday night with the first of three games in New York versus the Mets.  First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410, with air time set for 5:55 pm.
