FREE FAMILY FUN ALL DAY AND INTO THE EVENING AT FIDDLIN FEST 2018 IN DOWNTOWN ROME

Free family fun will be offered all day long and into the evening on Saturday at the 3rd annual Fiddlin Fest Between the Rivers. The bluegrass street festival will feature live music on two stages, along with a car show, workshops, kids activities and more.  Festivities will take place from noon until 8 pm around the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of Broad Street in downtown Rome.

LOCALS MAY JOIN EFFORT TO RELIEVE VICTIMS OF HURRICANE MICHAEL

Fresh from their mission to relieve victims of Hurricane Florence up in the Carolinas, the RomeGACares effort of the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is now preparing to assist those affected by Hurricane Michael in Florida and South Georgia, according to the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.  Donations may be made online at www.floydsheriff.com/romegacares.
