The Chiaha Harvest Fair will return to Ridgeferry Park this weekend.  Hours are 10 am until 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

This will be the 54th annual ‘toe-tappin’, cider sippin’, fun for everyone’ arts festival.  Organizer Monica Sheppard says that the event will feature works by artists from this region (and beyond), live music, kids activities and food to be offered by local vendors.

Around 150 arts and craftspeople will sell their wares, ranging from pottery to paintings to woodwork.  Sheppard enthuses that Chiaha is a good place to pick up some unique Christmas gifts!

There is a slight chance of showers forecast for this weekend with highs only expected to reach the low 60s.  Sheppard encourages area residents to grab their sweaters and come out to the park for a local fall tradition.

Admission to Chiaha is $5 for adults, $4 for students and seniors and $1 for kids under 12.  A coupon is available at that may be used for free admission for kids under 12 at the gate with a paying adult.  Parking will be free, and handicapped parking is available.
