Georgia Tech was edged by Wofford 63-60 in men’s college basketball on Wednesday night in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Fletcher Magee blew out the scoring with 36 points for Wofford, including the go-ahead 3-pointer with less than two seconds remaining.
Tadric Jackson scored a season-high 26 points for the Yellow Jackets, who now hold an even 4-4 record on the 2017-2018 regular season.
The Jackets will return to action on Sunday, December 17th at home versus Florida A&M. The game will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge, Rome’s radio home for Georgia Tech athletics.
In local college hoops, Georgia Highlands’ Lady Chargers lost a conference outing with Albany Tech 72-53 at home on Wednesday night. GHC falls to 6-4 overall and 2-2 in the GCAA.
