Communities in Schools of Rome and Floyd County has hit the ground and is running during the 2018-2019 school year towards its mission to keep kids in school and help them realize their full potential.

Gregory Wooten, Executive Director, enthuses that CIS celebrates 25 years of service to Rome and Floyd County this year.

Supporters of the organization are encouraged to stay tuned for more about the 25th anniversary celebration; those details are forthcoming.

Wooten is especially proud of CIS involvement with the Habitudes program, which has returned to Rome Middle School for this school year. He says that a great crop of local leaders has stepped up to assist with the youth leadership development series.
