The Coosa River Basin Initiative has a new staff member.  Ashley Ray, 2015 graduate of Berry College, was selected to serve as the Outreach Coordinator earlier this month.

Ray, who is a native of Chattanooga, previously served as a crew member for the Southeast Conservation Corp.  She continues to work towards her masters in Business Administration at Berry College.

Joe Cook is stepping down from the Outreach Coordinator post after almost two decades with CRBI, including a stint as Executive Director.  He will now focus on his work with the Georgia River Network.

Jesse Demonbreun-Chapman, the CRBI’s current Executive Director, says, “We’re excited to have Ashley on board and the energy that she brings to the organization.  I can’t overstate our gratitude for Joe and the years of service he has given to this organization.”
