DARLINGTON, ROME HIGH TO HOLD GRADUATION CEREMONIES THIS WEEKEND

Graduation ceremonies are slated for this weekend for both Darlington and Rome High School.

Darlington’s commencement will take place on Saturday morning at 9:30 am on the Chapel Lawn.  Chip Bell, author, acclaimed speaker, and consultant in customer loyalty and service innovation, will issue the 2018 commencement address.  In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held at 10:30 am at the Huffman Athletic Center. Darlington math teacher Al Shorey will serve as the speaker for the school’s Baccalaureate, which will take place on Friday night at 7 pm in the Morris Chapel.  Both of these events will be streamed online at www.darlingtonschool.org.

Rome High School will hold its graduation on Saturday morning at 9 am at Barron Stadium.  It will be moved to the Forum River Center in the event of rain.

The Floyd County Schools will host their high school graduation ceremonies for 2018 next weekend at the Forum River Center.
