And to follow up on a story we shared with you a couple of weeks ago, today is the deadline for applications into the 3rd annual Starving Artist Expo.  The event is set for Saturday, March 29th from 11 am until 7 pm at the Seven Hills Building on Broad Street.  It is being sponsored by the Rome Area Council for the Arts.

This is the first year that the show has been opened up for applications.  A wide variety of art work will be accepted, according to organizer Lisa Ingram.

Ingram indicates that applications are now available for the Starving Artist Expo at Dogwood Books and Antiques, 240 Broad Street in downtown Rome, and online at  She adds that the Expo is being held at a new location this year after being held the first two years at a private residence.
