The 2018 Fiddlin’ Fest Between the Rivers is set for Saturday, October 13th in downtown Rome.  The bluegrass street festival will feature live music on two stages, along with a car show, workshops, kids activities and more.

This marks the third annual Fiddlin’ Fest, says Megan Treglown, PR Director for the Rome Downtown Development Authority.  Festivities will take place from noon until 8 pm around the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of Broad Street in downtown Rome.

Vendors will set up shop in the 100 block with locally-produced goods that will be for sale, adds Treglown.

Some downtown businesses will offer special sidewalk sales on the day of the event.  Adult beverages purchased at restaurants may be brought into the event area with an armband; no outside coolers will be allowed.

The 2018 Fiddlin’ Fest Between the Rivers is made financially possible by BID (the downtown Business Improvement District), River City Bank and the Hampton Inn.  For more information, visit
