THREE FINALISTS NAMED IN SEARCH FOR THE FLOYD COUNTY SCHOOLS’ NEXT SUPERINTENDENT

The Floyd County Board of Education has named three finalists in the search for the school system’s next Superintendent.

According to an FCS media release, finalists include Dr. April Childers and Dr. Glenn White, both of Rome, and Dr. Jeffrey R. Wilson of Cleveland.

The school system is in the midst of finding a successor to John Jackson, who will retire on June 30th.

The Floyd County Board of Education plans to make a final decision on the matter in approximately three weeks.
