Floyd County Juvenile Court Judge Greg Price has been named the State Bar of Georgia’s “Lovett Award” winner for this year by the organization’s Child Protection and Advocacy Section. He was bestowed the honor last Friday at the Georgia Bar’s Annual Meeting at Amelia Island.
The Lovett Award is given annually to the Juvenile Judge/Attorney who has a history of dedication as an advocate for children. Price says that the award is named for the late Willie Lovett, a former Fulton County judge.
The award was presented to Price by Supreme Court Justice David Nahmias, State Bar President Buck Rogers and Niki Vaughn, the Chair of the State Bar Child Protection and Advocacy Section.
