Floyd County Manager Jamie McCord indicates that 2017 was an active year for the county. He delivered his annual report for last year at the most recent gathering of the Floyd County Commission.
McCord says that work continued in 2017 on 2013 SPLOST projects as well as towards the passage of another one-cent special purpose local option sales tax that was approved by voters in November. He attests that Floyd County continues to work well with the City of Rome to offer joint services that keep the community running smoothly.
McCord’s 2017 annual report is now available online via the city and county joint website at www.romefloyd.com; visit the County Clerk’s page to locate the link to the report. Hard copies may be obtained from the County Clerk’s office, located inside the Floyd County Administrative Building on East 4th Avenue in downtown Rome.
