FLOYD COUNTY SCHOOLS AWARDED $3.2 MILLION LITERACY GRANT

The state Board of Education has awarded the Floyd County Schools a total of $3,228,551 in L4GA (or “Literacy for Learning, Living and Leading in Georgia”) grant funds for a three-year period, according to a media release from the school system.

Georgia’s School Superintendent Richard Woods is scheduled to be at Garden Lakes Elementary School on Thursday, May 17th at 11:45 am to celebrate the accomplishment.
