GEORGIA TECH FALLS TO NO. 2 VIRGINIA IN MEN’S HOOPS

Georgia Tech fell to second-ranked Virginia 64-48 in an ACC men’s college basketball match on Thursday night in Atlanta.

Tadric Jackson notched 14 points as the leading scorer for the Yellow Jackets, which fell to 10-8 overall and 3-2 in conference play for the season.

The Cavaliers held the lead throughout the majority of the game.  DeAndre Hunter was their top scorer with 17 points.  The win over the Jackets allowed Virginia to improve to 16-1 overall and 6-0 in the ACC.

Georgia Tech will hit the road to face No. 15 North Carolina on Saturday.  Tip off is set for 2 pm.  The game will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge; air time is 1:30 pm.
