Georgia Tech lost to Notre Dame 69-59 in ACC men’s basketball on Sunday evening in South Bend, Indiana; it was the fifth loss in a row for the Yellow Jackets.
Michael Devoe notched a career-high 18 points for the Jackets. Abdoulaye Gueye had 12 points. James Banks had nine points and 12 rebounds.
Four of the Fighting Irish scored into the double digits. They were led by TJ Gibbs with 20 points. John Mooney had a double-double with 11 points and 14 boards.
The Yellow Jackets are now 11-13 overall and 3-8 in conference play. They will remain on the road to take on No. 11 Virginia Tech on Wednesday night at 8 pm; the game will be broadcast on 95.7 FM The Ridge.
