GHC TO HOST HIGHLANDS WRITERS CONFERENCE ON MARCH 3

Georgia Highlands College will bring together a number of special guests for the Highlands Writers Conference, a one-day experience intended to connect acclaimed writers will the local writing community.

According to a GHC media release, the event will take place on the college’s Cartersville campus on Saturday, March 3rd.

Jessica Lindberg, English Instructor, enthuses, “This one-day program provides numerous opportunities for aspiring writers to learn about craft in a variety of genres as well as best practices for publication.  We welcome writers who have been practicing for years as well as those who have not yet set pen to paper.”

Registration is $55 for a full day; that cost covers two writing workshops, a publishing panel, a lunch presentation and a featured reading.  The cost for a half-day is $35; this includes one less writing workshop.
