Harbor House, the Northwest Georgia Child Advocacy Center, invites local youngsters to have breakfast with their favorite superheroes at “The Dream Team” Eat and Meet slated for Saturday, April 28th from 10 am until noon at Garden Lakes Baptist Church in Rome.
Joe Costolnick, Executive Director, says that Harbor House is teaming with a group called Princesses with a Purpose to make the event happen.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet with Captain America, Wonder Woman, Rapunzel, Belle and Spiderman. Breakfast will be provided by Honeymoon Bakery.
The event is being held, in part, to raise awareness of the services provided to the community by Harbor House. Costolnick indicates that where there have been allegations of child abuse, his organization is there to provide assistance with the subsequent investigation. He adds that Harbor House is in business to help children and families.
Proceeds from the superhero event, once all overhead is covered, will benefit the Harbor House mission.
Tickets are now on sale for the event at a cost of $25 per person. Tickets may be purchased on the event Facebook page, Dream Team – Eat & Meet 2018. A limited number of spots are available.
