The sweet sounds of harmony will fill the DeSoto Theatre this Friday night as the Atlanta Vocal Project takes the stage in “Harmony in the Hills”, a part of the Parker FiberNet concert series.  Showtime is 8 pm.  Proceeds from the performance will go towards the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation effort to restore the downtown theatre.

Danny Price of the HDTF invites the public to come out for an evening of barbershop music.  He adds that the Atlanta Vocal Project is one of the top acts of its kind in this country.

Fellow HDTF supporter Jim O’Hara enthuses that Rome High School’s award winning quartet will perform with the Atlanta Vocal Project.

Tickets for “Harmony in the Hills” are $17 for general admission and $27 for reserved seating.  Student/senior tickets are $12 for general admission and $22 for reserved seating.  To purchase tickets and get additional information, visit www.historicdesototheatre.org.  Discounts are available for purchases of 10 or more tickets by calling (706) 591-8377.

The Spires at Berry College has signed on to serve as the major sponsor of the event.
