The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks 97-92 in NBA action on Tuesday night at Milwaukee, allowing the Bucks to take a 2-0 lead in the three-game season series between the teams.

Dennis Schroder was the Hawks’ top scorer with 18 points.  Kent Bazemore added 17 points.  Ersan Ilyasova scored 15 points, while Dewayne Dedmon contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds.  Taurean Prince had 11 points.

Khris Middleton led all players in scoring with 21 points for the Bucks, who also benefited from a total of 15 points as well as 15 rebounds from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Hawks are now 18-40 on the season.  They’ll be in Detroit to take on the Pistons tonight; tip off is set for 7 pm at Little Caesars Arena.  The match will be the last one before the All-Star break for both teams; it will be televised on Fox Sports Southeast.
