The Atlanta Hawks picked up a 118-115 victory over the Detroit Pistons at the Philips Arena on Sunday.

Dewayne Dedmon matched a career-high with 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Hawks, who were led in scoring by Dennis Schroder with 23 points (that included six free-throws in the final seconds).  Dedmon gave the Hawks the lead on a three-point play with just over a minute and a half remaining and padded that lead with a 3-pointer seconds later.

The Pistons were led by Andre Drummond, who had a game-high 25 points; he also had 15 rebounds.

The Hawks are now 18-39 overall and 1-2 in their four-game season series with the Pistons.  Those two teams will meet in Detroit for their series finale this Wednesday night.  The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday night in Milwaukee against the Bucks; tip off is set for 8 pm.
