Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd is encouraging local residents to let a light shine for a loved one this holiday season and support the organization in its mission to provide quality care and support for the patients it serves.
The Love Light Tree will be illuminated atop Floyd Medical Center starting on Thanksgiving night, November 22nd, according to a media release from the hospital; it will remain lit through early January.
Each light on the tree represents someone special in the live of those touched by Heyman HospiceCare. For a donation of $25, locals may name a light in honor of a loved one, friend or caregiver.
Casey Blankenship, Program Director for Heyman HospiceCare, says, “The Love Light Tree is a symbol of the community’s support of our efforts to provide exceptional end-of-life care.”
