The Northwest Georgia Center for Independent Living in Rome will host an EmployABILITY course starting on April 11th.  The five-month course is for people with disabilities that are seeking employment.

Sessions will take place on the second Thursday of each month at the Georgia Department of Labor’s Rome Career Center at 462 Riverside Parkway, attests Maia Santamaria, NWGACIL Executive Director.

EmployABILITY speakers will cover topics such as self-advocacy, as well as how to get (and keep) a job, according to Santamaria.

At the conclusion of the course in August, participants who have attended all sessions will be given a certificate of completion.  Interested parties are asked to RSVP by noon on Tuesday, April 9th by calling (706) 314-0008 or by email to info@nwgacil.org
