The Northwest Georgia Center for Independent Living will host their Spring Open House on Wednesday, May 23rd. It will take place from 10 am to 2 pm at their office, located at 527 Broad Street, Suite 101 in Rome.
Maia Santamaria, Executive Director of the center, says that this year’s theme is “Planting Seeds of Independence”. Seedlings will be given to attendees of the free event.
Santamaria says that the ultimate goal of the NWGA Center for Independent Living is to empower those of all ages with disabilities.
