Local residents who may still be having problems with power outages are urged to contact their provider. Hank Adams, external affairs officer for Georgia Power, says that customers can get updates online at www.georgiapower.com or by contacting their local office.
Adams indicates that Georgia Power crews have been working around the clock to restore power to those who lost it during the winter storm. They have received some assistance from Florida Power and Light and Dayton Power and Light along with other peers in the power business.
