The Rome Little Theatre’s production of ‘Almost, Maine’ is slated to open on Friday night.  It will run for the next two weekends at the DeSoto Theatre on Broad Street in downtown Rome.

Hannah Cook, RLT Executive Director, says that ‘Almost, Maine’ tells a story about ‘people in different stages and phases of love’ set against the backdrop of the magical Northern Lights.  The romantic comedy is the perfect offering for those seeking entertainment around Valentines Day.

This is the first production involving the Rome Little Theatre’s Directors Lab, enthuses Cook; these first-time directors are being led by show director Chris Davidson.  The Lab provides the opportunity for new directors to learn about all aspects of directing a community-theatre production.

Showtimes for ‘Almost, Maine’ are set for 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 pm on Sundays.  Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for students and seniors, and $12 for children or groups; ticket prices do not include tax or processing fees.  Get tickets online at www.romelittletheatre.org or by calling RLT’s Box Office at (706) 295-7171.
