The Rome City Schools held a banquet earlier in the week to announce their Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year.

Becky Kemnitz, a third grade teacher at Anna K. Davie and a tennis coach at Rome High, was honored as RCS Teacher of the Year.  Hillary Oliver, a first grade teacher at West End, was named runner-up. Elm Street paraprofessional Scott McClure was the honoree for Support Staff of the Year.

Educators and support staff nominated were given an award and a gift basket provided by RCS community partners.
