Rome is among three Georgia Department of Driver Services locations in North Georgia tapped to offer commecial vehicle road tests to customers who seek to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL).
According to a release from Floyd County, the DDS customer service center in Rome is one of 10 centers around the state that now offer the test.
Floyd County Manager Jamie McCord states, “The new testing site here in Floyd County will benefit our residents as well as our commercial businesses that depend on CDL drivers.”
CDL road test appointments are now being booked in Rome. Customers are reminded that the tests are by appointment only.
