Rome, Georgia will welcome a host of visitors to the community in this new year.  The USTA Southern Frozen 16’s Championships are scheduled to take place January 19th through 22nd at the Rome Tennis Center, to be followed by even more USTA events in February, according to Kristi Kent, the Director of Communications for the Greater Rome Convention and Visitors Bureau, who adds that some 1,600 people will be in town in February for the semifinalists’ interviews of the Governor’s Honors Program at Berry College. These events are strong economic drivers for Rome and Floyd County, says Kent.

Visitors (and locals) may find a listing of upcoming events in the community as well as information about tourist attractions in Rome and Floyd County on the GRCVB website at www.romegeorgia.org
