ROME MOURNS LOSS OF DAN BIGGERS

Romans are mourning a beloved entertainer and historian that has passed away.  Dan Biggers, who has acted in film and television and served as director of Oak Hill and the Martha Berry Museum, died yesterday at the age of 80.  Biggers’ most notable role was that of Dr. Frank Robb in the television series “In the Heat of the Night”.  A celebration of his life is set for Wednesday at 2 pm at the Miller Richards Funeral Home Oaknoll Chapel.
