If you are a big fan of art in all it’s various forms, you’ll want to make your plans to attend the second annual Starving Artist Expo, set for tomorrow (Saturday, March 23rd)  from 12 pm until 7 pm at Historic Oakdene at 7 Coral Avenue in Rome.  Work from 13 local artists will be on display at the Expo, from paintings to pottery to jewelry and even handmade guitars.

There will also be musical entertainment from pianist AJ Pierce and guitarist Lon Eldridge at the Starving Artist Expo, according to event organizer Lisa Brown Ingram.

Ingram adds that while there is no charge for admission to the Roman Starving Artist Expo, attendees are asked to bring a canned good to help those battling hunger in Northwest Georgia.  In addition, monetary donations will be collected to provide food for trafficked children in Nepal.
