STATE CHAMPION ROME WOLVES HONORED AT STATE CAPITOL

Written by Elizabeth Davis. Posted in Sports

The Georgia State Capitol was a regular ‘Wolves’ Den’ on Thursday as members of the state House and Senate took a moment to recognize the Rome High School football team for its state championship season.

Rome’s head coach John Reid was joined by players for photo opportunities and handshakes with local legislators and Governor Nathan Deal.  The Wolves won the 2016 GHSA Class 5A state championship at the Georgia Dome back in December.
