Teams and sponsors are being sought for the 23rd annual Swing for the Kids Golf Classic to benefit the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth.  The tournament is set for Friday, September 8th at the Stonebridge Golf Club in Rome.

Carol Willis, Executive Director of the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth, says that Swing for the Kids, which has become an after-Labor Day tradition for this area, will begin with a shotgun start at 9 am.  A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to participants.  There will also be contests and prizes.

Those interested in participating in the 23rd annual Swing for the Kids Golf Classic, either as a team member or a sponsor, should contact Carol Willis via email at carol.willis@comcast.net or by phone at (706) 766-8880.

The mission of the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth, a Georgia Family Connection Collaborative, is to work with community partners to develop, implement and evaluate plans that address the challenges faced by local youth and families.
