IT’S TIME FOR FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, PLAYOFF EDITION!

Friday night lights will shine tonight for a number of area high school football teams that will take the field in the first round of the GHSA state playoffs.

WLAQ AM 1410 is your home for Darlington football and will have all the action as the Tigers open the Class A playoffs at home versus the Walker School.  Kick off is set for 7:30 pm at Chris Hunter Stadium on the campus of Darlington School.  Steve Conrad will serve as the play by play announcer, and Tommy Manning will provide color commentary.  The duo will go on air shortly before kick-off.  The game will also air online at www.wlaq1410.com.

In the Northwest Georgia High School Football Game of the Week on 95.7 FM The Ridge and www.theridge957.com, the Model Blue Devils will hit the road for LaGrange to face Callaway in opening round action of the Class AA playoffs.  Matt Davis will have the play by play story and will be joined in the broadcast booth by Phil Carter.  Air time is 7 pm with kick-off slated for 7:30 pm.
